Abalone or not !
Hi all,
i'd like your opinion on the importance of choosing (or not!) abalone today for the use on a folk guitar??
i start to think that conversion from 28s model to 45s are just insane and so abalone may finally be in general.?
Isn't an 100% wood guitar more specific to luthery, elegant and after all a better sounding one?

I'm not sure about the sound, but regarding the look, your taste should be your guide.... YOU are gonna play it, and hold it in your arms
From my perspective, in the Martin range 28s is the max, 21s the sweet spot, 18s a little bit boring (Got an OM28, would love to get 000-21)
